is a charity that provides services and support to the older LGBT community. The work they do encourages those from the community to live freely, engage with others and, most importantly, be themselves. During #EmbraceDiversity month, we spoke with their Director Alice Wallace about the amazing work they do - and what more can be done to ensure we're all confident with difference.
Opening Doors London and the older LGBT community

Rainbow memory cafe
The UK's first, this cafe opens its doors to people with dementia and their carers; a safe sanctuary where they don't have to explain their sexuality and where they feel accepted and understood.
Training at Opening Doors London
As one of our endorsed training providers, Opening Doors London offer a variety of training courses available to the adult social care sector. Alice discusses one of their sessions and how it helped participants to start asking the right questions.
During October we’re embracing diversity in adult social care. Keep up to date with the campaign and join the conversation on social media using #EmbraceDiversity
