Yorkshire-based care provider Complete Care West Yorkshire recently experienced success at their local race for life, raising money for charity.

It was a proud day for the home care provider as they made it across the finish line and raised over £800 for Cancer Research.

The team all had a lot of fun and ended the day covered in mud.

The race was organised by Pretty Muddy and was held in Thornes Park in Wakefield.

The race is a fun event which covers a five kilometre muddy obstacle course, and is tailored to suit people of all fitness levels.

As is tradition for this race, the Complete Care team dressed up in pink outfits and even pink wigs and tutus.

Complete Care West Yorkshire at Race for Life

Complete Care take part in the race every year as it’s a charity close to their heart.

Becky Bartlett, Care Co-Ordinator, Complete Care West Yorkshire says:

The team have always felt Cancer Research is a worthy charity, with the money raised going towards helping fight cancer. The event brings women (and some men) together to have fun whilst raising money to help support this wonderful charity.

It also promotes teamwork. It doesn’t matter how your fitness levels are, on this day we are one.

Don’t run through life for no reason, run for a cause that will make a difference to other people’s life’

Well done to the whole team.
